We are well into October and I am so excited to finally start dressing for fall. It is no doubt my favorite time of year. This year I am particularly excited because there are so many great trends I am eager to try. Today I wanted to round up some looks that have been inspiring me lately as we enter fall!
Maybe it’s just me, but I love the “effortlessly chic French girl look” and will definitely be trying to capture that in my outfits this season. I thought this picture was adorable and I love the way she layered her sweater with the blouse. And those boots are amazing!
Wrap dresses have been super popular lately and I’m dying to get one for my fall wardrobe. They are so flattering and can easily be dressed up or down. I love the fabric and color of this one here, it’s perfect for a fall dinner party or something!
I always love Julia’s outfits, and this one is no exception. I have been seeing tons of emerald green and this silky midi dress is simply beautiful.
I am not sure I am quite ready to embrace the flared jeans look yet, but this street style star is totally rocking it. I love that her jeans are a little cropped with frayed edges because it gives an updated twist on a classic silhouette.
This isn’t a fashion trend necessarily, but I have been loving velvet bows lately… As belts, hair bows and everything in between! It puts such a classy and elegant touch on any outfit. I am trying to grow my hair out a little bit and I cannot wait until it makes a nice ponytail so I can add a velvet bow.
Plaid is another huge trend for fall, as usual. I usually see it in flannel tops, jacket linings and scarves/ ponchos, so seeing these fun statement pants were a nice update to a seasonal classic. The colors and size of the plaid make it so that while they are a bold statement, they are also a classic neutral that can be worn by all.
Last but certainly not least, I love a good fall floral! I love everything about Julia’s dress. The beautiful fall colors, the silky fabric and pussy bow necktie. This picture doesn’t show it, but it’s actually a midi dress… another one of my favorite trends of the season!
