I can’t believe this is the last week of Bloggers BTS. I feel like I was just videochatting with Cathleen brainstorming for the linkup. Now she is back in school, I’m in my last week of summer and the linkup is ending this week. Be sure to post a back to school and food related post this week and LINK UP BELOW! Since this week is food week, I’m of course talking my favorite kind of food: dessert.

I’m going to be honest, I’m not the best cook. Sure, I can boil a pot of pasta, bake chocolate chip cookies and even make a killer grilled cheese, but I’m no Gordon Ramsay or Buddy Valastro. And this is while I’m living at home with the best resources around me to make a five star meal. Once I go off to college, forget about it. Box macaroni & cheese, Ramen noodles and Insomnia Cookies please.

Since I’m no chef, I didn’t want to write a post about the best back to school lunches since for me, thats not practical because I know I will be making peanut butter sandwiches come September 8th (first day of school). I’m entering my senior year of high school so there are going to be a lot of celebrations, graduations, special dinners, award ceremonies… you know the drill. Instead of attempting to make something delicious to bring, I have a solution: Treat House.

The name may sound familiar from when Jamie and I visited their store during our NYC day together. Treat House is a basically a rice treat boutique. I like to think of it as a Baked by Melissa for rice treats. There are two stores in New York City (see pictures in the post linked above, the store is so adorable!) but they also have an online store, so you guessed it, Treat House can be ordered nationwide!

I was SO excited when Treat House offered to send me a 12-pack of the original flavored treats. Between the 12 original flavors plus the seasonal flavors, there is a treat for everyone. They make the perfect housewarming gift at a party, birthday gift for a friend living far away or even a little pick-me-up after a stressful week at school (they make the perfect companion for some late night Netflix binge watching… or a study session).

The treats are also great for a school event or big party because they can be customized. A school logo, a simple “happy birthday”, or even a custom design atop the delicious treats makes the perfect dessert for any occasion. Here are some pictures of the treats with my logo and the #BloggersBTS logo on them!

Even dogs love Treat House! (This was a candid shot and my dog did not actually eat any of the treats. I do not recommend that animals should eat the treats, this just happened to be a cute picture!)

I don’t know if it can be seen from the pictures, but the logo topping has a little glitter to it– the perfect touch!

I think my favorite flavor is the classic m&m, but they are all SO delicious (they were gone in a matter of days). I shared some with my friends and family who all had nothing but positive reviews. I think my favorite thing about the treats are that it is not just a cute little dessert with a topping– the treats are infused with flavor. For example, the cookies and cream flavor has a cookie on top and inside the treat. The treats are a great size for snacking, not too big that you feel guilty for snacking but not too small that you’re still hungry after. Treat House is the perfect dessert for any event and I have nothing but positive reviews of the company.

What is your go-to dessert during the school year? Would you ever order Treat House? Comment below!

XO, Nicole

The customized treats in this post were courtesy of Treat House but I had visited and purchased treats there before. I only work with and feature brands/products on Empire Styles that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that help grow Empire Styles!
